Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Funeral Ends With Emotional Message From Whitney Houston

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s loved ones gathered at her funeral on Aug. 1, and a little part of Whitney Houston was there, too. In fact, the funeral reportedly ended on a beautiful and touching note from Whitney. Find out the details.
Bobbi Kristina: Brown Family Worried The Houstons Will Take Photo Of Body For Money
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Whitney Houston may no longer be with us, but their special mother-daughter bond lives on. To conclude Bobbi’s funeral service on Aug. 1 at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, there was a special message from Whitney, which surely gave the late 22-year-old the proper send-off she deserved.
Despite all the family drama, Bobbi’s funeral sure had its special moments. During the closing part of the ceremony, the final song played was “Jesus Loves Me” by Whitney, according to TMZ. And if that’s not touching enough, Bobbi’s dad, Bobby Brown, 46, wrote a message in the funeral program, which read, “I also will always love you,” an ode to Whitney’s song, “I Will Always Love You.” This is so special. Whitney and Bobbi’s bond was something remarkable. Bobbi adored her mom, and it totally showed when they were on stage together.
Bobbi’s Sweet 16-themed funeral was an emotional and heartbreaking time for family and friends. Attendees included Bobby and his wife, Alicia, Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston, 55, mayor Kasim Reed, Tyler Perry, 45, and more. Fans also mourned her death outside of the church with flowers and signs. Bobbi passed away on July 26, after being in a coma for nearly seven months.
Sadly, things have still been tense between the Browns and Houstons during the funeral. The Browns were incredibly concerned that a family member in the Houston clan would snap a picture of Bobbi’s body in her coffin and sell it, TMZ reported. The reason they feared this is because something similar happened at Whitney’s funeral in 2012. Not only did someone snap a pic of Whitney in her coffin, but it also ended up on the cover of a magazine.
All in all, it was Bobbi’s day to be remembered. She was certainly loved by her family, including Whitney, and she is now hopefully in a better place. It certainly isn’t easy to say goodbye.
Our hearts continue to be with Bobbi’s family and friends.
