Chris Brown Speaks Out About How Much He Still ‘Loves’ Rihanna

Aww! Chris Brown still carries a torch for his ex-flame Rihanna. The ‘Loyal’ singer gushed about RiRi in a new interview, revealing that he still has a lot of ‘love’ for her! See what else he said.
Their relationship may have ended years ago, but Chris Brown, 26, still holds a special place in his heart for Rihanna, 27. Breezy revealed that not only is everything “cool” between him and the “BBHMM” singer, but that there’s still a lot of love there!
Chris dropped major jaws when he sang RiRi’s smash hit “BBHMM” during a recent concert, but to him, it was perfectly normal! When he was asked about the song choice in an interview with Tim Westwood, he said: “She’s my homie though. We knew each other since we were 14, 15 so with that kind of history, we are always going to be cool. I don’t get jealous. I don’t get mad. I got nothing but love and respect for her.” Aww, that’s amazing!
He took it a step further, gushing about her music. “I respect her as an artist,” Chris continued. “Obviously people are going to make a spectacle, like ‘Oh, he’s playing her music!’ But who doesn’t? I’m pretty sure she plays my music.” Actually, the exes are very supportive of each other’s music! Rihanna watched him rehearse at the BET Awards, and she also sang along to his energetic performance of “Post To Be.”If you’re hoping for Chris and Rihanna to date again, though, don’t hold your breath. Chris has no intention of dating the “American Oxygen” singer ever again — because he cares too deeply for her.
“He knows who he is,” an insider told us. “He knows he loves women and knows he could have just about any one he wants. He realizes that and the last thing he’d ever want to do is hurt his precious Rihanna and not give her what she wants — which is love and a monogamous commitment.”

Zimbabwe seeks second American 'lion killer'

Zimbabwe says it is seeking a second American over the illegal killing of a lion, as the outcry over the death of famed animal Cecil continues.
The National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority said a doctor from Pennsylvania, named as Jan Casimir Seski, killed a lion in April.
A Zimbabwean landowner has since been arrested, the agency said.
Cecil was shot illegally in July by US dentist Walter Palmer of Minnesota. Zimbabwe is seeking his extradition.
The Associated Press news agency says Mr Seski is a gynaecological oncologist who runs the Center for Bloodless Medicine and Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The agency called at his home, in woods outside Pittsburgh, and left a telephone message but received no response.
Images on websites linked to hunting show a "Dr Jan Seski" standing next to dead animals including elephants, an impala, a hippo and an ostrich, the agency added.

The National Parks authority gave little information on the new case, but said on Sunday that the killing of the lion had taken place without a permit.
It said the hunt had been arranged by a Zimbabwean man who owned a safari company.
The authority said in a statement that it had agreed to "undertake an industry-wide investigation to crack down and weed out any illegal hunting activities", but it was not clear if the latest case had emerged from that investigation.
Mr Palmer is believed to have paid about $50,000 (£32,000) to hunt Cecil, a major tourist attraction in the Hwange National Park.
He says he thought the hunt was legal and was unaware Cecil was protected.
There has been a huge online backlash against Mr Palmer.
The dental practice he runs in Minneapolis has been closed since he was named as the hunter who shot Cecil.
On Thursday, the White House said it would review a public petition to extradite the American dentist after more than 100,000 signed it.
But spokesman Josh Earnest said it was up to the US justice department to respond to any extradition order.

Prostate cancer: Five types 'found'

Scientists have identified five types of prostate cancer, each with a distinct genetic signature.
And by comparing 250 samples removed in surgery with the patients' subsequent progress, they have identified some types that are more likely to recur.
Until now, there has been no reliable way to know which patients have the more aggressive cancers requiring the most urgent and intensive therapy.
But much larger trials are still needed to be certain of these early results.
Spreading aggressively
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in UK men, with 41,700 cases diagnosed each year.
Prof Malcolm Mason, of Cancer Research UK, which conducted the research with Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, said some of the types were like a pussycat - growing slowly and causing few problems, while others were like a tiger - growing and spreading aggressively.
And researcher Dr Alastair Lamb said it could be possible to combine this genetic information with existing tests to identify patients most at risk.
He said: "These findings could help doctors decide on the best course of treatment for each individual patient, based on the characteristics of their tumour.
"The next step is to confirm these results in bigger studies and drill down into the molecular 'nuts and bolts' of each specific prostate cancer type."
But he cautioned there were still many questions to be ironed out, including whether the technique could be used routinely in hospitals.
Dr Iain Frame, of Prostate Cancer UK, said: "For men to truly benefit from these findings it is now vital that the research community comes together to confirm the most efficient methods for testing for different types of prostate cancer that can be bought to the clinic. "

'Abortion pill' legalised in Canada

Canadian health authorities have approved the drug RU-486, commonly known as the abortion pill.
The pill, a combination of misoprostol and mifepristone, had been pending approval by Health Canada since 2012.
It has been in use in the United States since 2000 and in France since 1988.
Vicki Saporta of the National Abortion Federation called it "great news" for women in Canada but anti-abortion campaigners disagreed, calling it a "human pesticide".
The pill causes a medically induced abortion earlier in the pregnancy than most surgical abortions. Earlier terminations are considered safer than late term abortions by pro-choice campaigners.
It is already available to women in about 60 countries, and has been in use in the UK for almost a quarter century.
Health Canada confirmed to BBC News that the Linepharma pharmaceutical company has been told they can begin production of the pill, which will be sold under the brand name Mifegymiso.
A doctor's prescription will be required for women to obtain the drug, which is normally effective up to 70 days into a pregnancy.
Mrs Saporta says the pill will likely become available in 2016, and will be distributed by doctors rather than pharmacies, as it is done in the US.
She added: "It's long overdue that Canadian women also have access to the gold standard for medical abortion care."
But Jim Hughes, national president of Campaign Life Coalition, a Canadian group opposed to abortion access, said: "RU-486 is a human pesticide which kills the pre-born child and harms women."
Abortion was first legalised by the Canadian Supreme Court in 1988.

HIV flushed out by cancer drug

HIV can be flushed out of its hiding places in the body using a cancer drug, researchers show.
The cornerstone of treatment, anti-retroviral therapy, kills the virus in the bloodstream but leaves "HIV reservoirs" untouched.
The study, published in PLoS Pathogens, showed the drug was "highly potent" at reactivating hidden HIV.
Experts said the findings were interesting, but it was important to know if the drug was safe in patients.
The power of the HIV reservoir was shown with the case of the Mississippi baby.
She was given antiretroviral drugs at birth. Despite appearing to be free of HIV for nearly two years after stopping treatment, she was found to be harbouring the virus.
'Kick and kill'
A strategy known as "kick and kill" is thought to be key to curing HIV - the kick would wake up the dormant HIV allowing the drugs to kill it.
The team at the UC Davis School of Medicine investigated PEP005 - one of the ingredients in a treatment to prevent cancer in sun-damaged skin.
They tested the drug in cells grown in the laboratory and in parts of the immune system taken from 13 people with HIV.
The report said "PEP005 is highly potent in reactivating latent HIV" and that the chemical represents "a new group of lead compounds for combating HIV".
One of the researchers, Dr Satya Dandekar, said: "We are excited to have identified an outstanding candidate for HIV reactivation and eradication that is already approved and is being used in patients.
"This molecule has great potential to advance into translational and clinical studies."
However, the drug has still not been tested in people who are HIV-positive.
Prof Sharon Lewin, from the University of Melbourne, said the results were "interesting" and marked an "important advance in finding new compounds that can activate latent HIV".
She told the BBC: "This study adds another family of drugs to test to potentially eliminate long-lived forms of HIV although much more work needs to be done to see if this works in patients.
"Although PEP005 is part of an FDA approved drug, it will first take some time to work out if it is safe to use in the setting of HIV."

MtGox bitcoin chief Mark Karpeles arrested in Japan

Japanese police have arrested the CEO of the failed company MtGox, which was once the world's biggest exchange of the virtual currency, bitcoin.
Mark Karpeles, 30, is being held in connection with the loss of bitcoins worth $387m (£247m, €351m) last February.
He is suspected of having accessed the exchange's computer system to falsify data on its outstanding balance.
MtGox claimed it was caused by a bug but it later filed for bankruptcy.Japan's Kyodo News said a lawyer acting on Mr Karpeles' behalf denied his client had done anything illegal.
Mr Karpeles, who was born in France, is suspected of benefiting to the tune of $1m (£640,000), the agency said.
In March 2014, a month after filing for bankruptcy, MtGox said it had found 200,000 lost bitcoins.
The firm said it found the bitcoins - worth around $116m - in an old digital wallet from 2011.
That brings the total number of bitcoins the firm lost down to 650,000 from 850,000.
That total amounts to about 7% of all the bitcoins in existence.
Bitcoin is a virtual currency built around a complicated cryptographic protocol and a global network of computers that oversees and verifies which coins have been spent by whom.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Funeral Ends With Emotional Message From Whitney Houston

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s loved ones gathered at her funeral on Aug. 1, and a little part of Whitney Houston was there, too. In fact, the funeral reportedly ended on a beautiful and touching note from Whitney. Find out the details.
Bobbi Kristina: Brown Family Worried The Houstons Will Take Photo Of Body For Money
Bobbi Kristina Brown and Whitney Houston may no longer be with us, but their special mother-daughter bond lives on. To conclude Bobbi’s funeral service on Aug. 1 at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, there was a special message from Whitney, which surely gave the late 22-year-old the proper send-off she deserved.
Despite all the family drama, Bobbi’s funeral sure had its special moments. During the closing part of the ceremony, the final song played was “Jesus Loves Me” by Whitney, according to TMZ. And if that’s not touching enough, Bobbi’s dad, Bobby Brown, 46, wrote a message in the funeral program, which read, “I also will always love you,” an ode to Whitney’s song, “I Will Always Love You.” This is so special. Whitney and Bobbi’s bond was something remarkable. Bobbi adored her mom, and it totally showed when they were on stage together.
Bobbi’s Sweet 16-themed funeral was an emotional and heartbreaking time for family and friends. Attendees included Bobby and his wife, Alicia, Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston, 55, mayor Kasim Reed, Tyler Perry, 45, and more. Fans also mourned her death outside of the church with flowers and signs. Bobbi passed away on July 26, after being in a coma for nearly seven months.
Sadly, things have still been tense between the Browns and Houstons during the funeral. The Browns were incredibly concerned that a family member in the Houston clan would snap a picture of Bobbi’s body in her coffin and sell it, TMZ reported. The reason they feared this is because something similar happened at Whitney’s funeral in 2012. Not only did someone snap a pic of Whitney in her coffin, but it also ended up on the cover of a magazine.
All in all, it was Bobbi’s day to be remembered. She was certainly loved by her family, including Whitney, and she is now hopefully in a better place. It certainly isn’t easy to say goodbye.
Our hearts continue to be with Bobbi’s family and friends.

Kim Kardashian Fights Fake Pregnancy Rumors By Showing Off Big Bump

Take that, haters! Kim Kardashian slammed fake pregnancy rumors on July 29 by posting a picture of her big baby bump on Instagram. And the look in her eyes says it all — don’t mess with mama bear. See the photo here!

Some people have been speculating that Kim Kardashian, 34, is faking her pregnancy, which she has vehemently denied in the past. But now, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is firing back harder — and this time, she’s doing so by showing off her big baby bump.

“On set yesterday…,” Kim wrote next to the photo seen above. In the picture, which she posted on July 29, Kim’s seen wearing the same outfit she wore earlier this week, when her baby bump appeared to have shrunken in size. Perhaps Kim wanted to post a new picture, while wearing the same outfit, to prove the bump’s very much there!nterestingly, someone commented on the pic and said, “Damn she got lucky with this second baby no extra weight like she had for baby North.” Hmm. Are they subtly throwing shade? We’re not positive, but as we told you, fans have been relentlessly accusing Kim of faking her pregnancy and secretly using a surrogate.
The reality star has actually admitted her belly isnoticeably bigger at nighttime, so that also could be why it looked smaller during the day on July 27. “I’m at the stage now where I wake up with a flat belly but then as a I eat and by the end of the day it pops out!” she tweeted on July 13. As Taylor Swift famously said, haters gonna hate. We’re sure Kim is used to it by now.

Reese Witherspoon’s Cut & Color — See Her ‘Legally Blonde’ Hair Makeover

Reese Witherspoon just debuted an Elle Woods-worthy hair update, when she shared a picture of her newly bleach blonde locks and haircut. The actress got a fresh-for-summer hair update that we’re totally obsessed with.
Reese debuted a pretty picture of her new, summery ‘do (complete with floral accessories) to her Instagram, with the caption: “Nothing like a great salon day! Thank you @lorrigoddard_ for my baby blonde and @cervandohair for my rockin’ cut ! #summerstyle.” Reese’s lightened up look came courtesy of Goddard + Bragg Salon in West Hollywood.
Reese Witherspoon’s Blonde Hair — See Her New Color & Cut
Not convinced of the whole bronde trend celebrities like Blake Lively have been sporting? Reese Witherspoon, 39, proved that going lighter is still in, too, when she took to Instagram on July 31 to show off her latest hair look. What do you think of Reese’s super blonde hair and layered cut?
To keep her hair healthy while bleaching it to a much blonder color,Lorri Goddard mixed b3 Brazilian Bond Builder into the dye to protect Reese’s hair from damage and help keep the blonde color from going brassy. And if this miracle-working product sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the very same one Lorri used when she turned Kim Kardashian into a bleach blonde in early 2015.
If you don’t have access to the same stylists as these famous ladies (don’t worry, us either), use a sulfate-free color protecting shampoo and conditioner like L’Oréal Paris EverPure Blonde Brass Banisher Shampoo and Conditioner, which help to keep blonde color from going brassy. You can also help restore moisture to your hair by using a leave-in treatment like Bumble and Bumble Quenching Complex as needed, to help bring back some of the moisture dye strips your hair of while leaving it shiny.

Albanian Traditional Cuisine

Albanian cuisine offers a truly unique blend of Mediterranean flavors. Representing a rich historical past, the food of modern Albania has been developed over millennia reflects a variety of influences. East meets west in many discernable ways throughout Albanian culture, but nowhere is it more evident than in the cuisine.
The mild climate is favorable for many agricultural pursuits. Among Albania’s most popular are: peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, cucumbers, and an assortment of legumes. The wide variety of fruits and vegetables grown here serves to further enhance this varied fare.
These vegetables are combined with meats in a number of delectable ways to form the basis for many Albanian delights. Most often, these creations are baked in earthenware or sautéed, and take one of the following forms: stew, casserole, stuffed vegetables, or meatballs. Other types of dishes blend many vegetables (with or without meat), and can be traced to Asian origins.
As in many other Mediterranean countries, olives are a staple in Albania. Although they are most frequently enjoyed on their own, olives combine with many foods and are an essential ingredient in many signature dishes. Types vary by region. Olives from the Berat region are prized for their unique flavor and low fat content. Olives from Vlora, Borsh, Himara, and Tirana are higher in fat content and are more often used for olive oil production.

Albanian cuisine also uses a variety of spices to enhance food flavors. Garlic and hot peppers are popular options for flavoring. Often subtle, the flavors sometimes arise from non-spice ingredients such as lemon, vinegar, and/or yogurt. Albanian chefs rarely mix spices, instead choosing one that harmonizes most closely with the dish’s natural aroma. Recipes rarely specify quantities of spices to be used, recognizing that this is a matter to be adjusted based on the other ingredients in the dish.
Milk and dairy products play a large role in Albanian cuisine, as well. Yogurt is consumed daily by many Albanians and forms the basis for many sauces and other dishes. Buttermilk is also very popular; both as an ingredient or alone, as a drink. Albanian cheeses are unique and also vary by region. The most popular is a white cheese made from sheep’s milk and originating from the south. Similar to feta, it is found in many dishes.

Desserts often accompany Albanian dishes, thus completing the meal. Often they are made from a variety of creams and fruit juices, and sometimes use local honey as a sweetener. Baklava, cookies, and puddings are all dessert staples. Another popular option is some variation of sweet or savory dough balls. Boza is a common drink served as part of dessert. It is produced from maize and originates in the north. Particularly refreshing in the summer, it offers a pleasant, non-alcoholic option. Often the most delicious desert, however, is the most simple: a variety of seasonal fruits, served plain, can be the perfect ending to a scrumptious meal.

II. Culinary characteristics of Albania’s regions

A. The North
Corn is widely produced here and serves as the staple for many varieties of culinary delights. Due to the characteristic cold winters, meat is often dried from preservation. Vegetables are chosen for their heartiness, as well, with potatoes, onions, garlic, and cabbage being among the most popular.
Traditional dishes include baked rice, risottos, fritters, casseroles, pies, and mashes. Fish, of both sea and fresh waters, are plentiful here, and also are an ingredient in many dishes. Some cities boast unique dishes and have woven them into local culture. Shkodra, in particular, has several signature dishes, which are described here:
1.Jahni Meat: beef or lamb is sautéed with onions, garlic, sauce and spices. Traditionally cooked over fire, the sauce is reduced, gradually tenderizing the meat.
2.Baked Stuffed Eggplant: prepare several medium eggplants by removing stems, halving lengthwise, and briefly sautéing. In another pan, prepare the stuffing by combining crumbled cheese, parsley, flour, and egg. Bake the stuffed eggplants and serve with parsley and tomato.
In the Lezhë region there are many lagoons which provide a habitat for a variety of game species. Many restaurants and homes incorporate the ducks, geese, pheasants and hares found here into delicious dishes. These game meats are highly prized for their flavor and versatility.
In the Dibra region, many fruits and nuts are cultivated and incorporated into the local cuisine. Most notable is the plum, which has been used in raki production for centuries. Also popular are cherries, walnuts, apples, and pomegranates.

B. Central Regions
A variety of wild animal species flourish here. From waterfowl and poultry species to mammals such as wild boar, this rich diversity augments local cuisine. Particularly in the Divjaka Forest, on the Adriatic coast, many game species are hunted and incorporated into popular dishes. Fishing, too, represents an important economic activity and enhances cuisine through the use of these “fruits of the sea.” Sole, bass, eel, and mullet are all popular.
The land and climate here support a wide variety of agricultural products, as well. Berries and fruits, in particular, are delicious. Grapes, as previously mentioned, serve as the basis for raki production. Popular dishes of this region include plum casserole, Elbasani yogurt, Tirana stew, baked pie, and baked rice.
Ballokume is a special crumpet-like dessert, and is characteristic of Elbasan. It is masterfully prepared by local homemakers-primarily for the celebration of Summer Day on March 14th. The pastry traditionally combines flour, butter, egg, and sugar to create this scrumptious dessert.

The Berat region is home to some of the largest fig plantations in the Balkans. Often, the figs are prepared as preserves or jam. The figs are renowned for their exceptional quality and are sometimes strung together or ground, formed into shapes, and dried.
The area of Myzeqe is noted for turkey production and a particular dish called turkey with mash. This dish is available throughout the country, but locals say it is most delicious in this area. What follows is a description of this local delicacy:
Clean the turkey. Rub the outside with salt and butter. Bake in a small amount of water and reserve some of this to use in the mash. Crumble the dough (prepared beforehand using maize flour, water, salt and some oil) or the maize bread, and leave it in a pot. Lightly fry a leek or onion, pour the turkey juice and some water and let it come to a boil. Add the crumbled bread and stir until it thickens. Serve the turkey with the mash.

C. The South
Albania has a large livestock and animal husbandry industry. The southern parts of the country are particularly conducive to raising animals as pastures and feed resources are abundant. Some Albanian producers have started small scale production of organic meats here, and they are gaining popularity. Dairy farms are plentiful here, as well. Gjirokastra, in particular, is home to several large dairies. Large scale milk production (from cows and sheep) results in a variety of delicious yogurts, cheeses, and other milk products. The region makes the famed sheep yogurt—so thick it must be cut with a knife.
Some typical entrees served in the regions around Gjirokastra and Saranda are meat and cheese pies, and rich soups featuring lemon and rice, among other things. Desserts include baklava and many other regional specialties.
Olive and citrus trees thrive in the mild climate here. Olives are served as appetizers and are often incorporated into salads and other vegetarian and meat dishes.
Raki made from grapes is a part of most meals here, and serves to enhance the local flavors.
Raki and wine-making basins unearthed in the Gjirokastra region date to antiquity and verify that the making of raki in this region is a millennia-old practice.
In the Pogradec region, the making of wine or raki usually occurs on a small-scale basis in individual households. Often, the recipes used are traditions themselves, and have been handed down through generations. Production takes place in the coolest nooks of the house and enhances the mild flavor of the wine.
Fish dishes are renown in the Pogradec region, as well. The Koran fish is sautéed and combined with sauces and spices. Several fresh water species, the sardele and cironkat are fried and enjoyed in great quantities. Also common are nut “gliko” dishes.

All along the western part of this region is the Albanian Riviera, where delicious cuisine from the sea can be enjoyed in a truly picturesque and beautiful area. One of the most attractive destinations in the entire country, this area has much to offer and will delight travelers with countless attractions.
